Position Overview
• We are looking for a World Class Marketer to join Blizzard Korea’s Overwatch team.
• You are a business leader with strong ownership of the franchise who can proactively drive and effectively work to identify business opportunities as well as to achieve key objectives.
• You are a creative thinker who can lead and develop new solutions to Overwatch marketing activities.
• You are a global player who can engage and communicate with other regions as well as HQ to not only achieve strategic alignments but also to build interpersonal relationships.
• You are a business-oriented manager who values measuring and optimizing the effectiveness and return of the marketing programs.
Responsibilities
• Support to develop marketing campaigns built on solid player insights and sound business strategies to grow our user base and maintain the long-term brand health.
• Support to develop clear and concise business briefs for external agencies and internal departments to activate tactical executions.
• Manage and handle operations as well as third party agencies to ensure on-time-in-full delivery in time for Brand Manager’s review.
• Work with creative teams and media agencies to continuously measure and optimize both the level of creativity, media effectiveness as well as performance marketing deliverables.
• Communicate a real understanding and provide actionable insights of business with a firm grasp of ongoing business KPIs.
• Proactively respond related matters and issues and make sound business support to Brand Manager for enhancement of agreed marketing programs.
Team Support
• Support team’s key tasks to consistently achieve OTIF delivery
• Assist marketing plan and manage operations
• Tracking and reporting marketing activities
• Management of marketing calendar
• Obtain and convey all sorts of global marketing assets to relevant agencies and departments
• Design and development of user research & FGI
• Management of administrative work(i.e. Contract development, payment requests etc.)
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of brand marketing experience including planning, execution and project management.
• A proactive and strong team player
• Proven communication skills (Fluent English)
• Insight driven approach and analytical competence
• Experience in performance marketing
• Work Experience with creative/media agencies
• Passionate about game playing. Gaming industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally
• Proficient in MS tool (Excel, Word, Power-point) Skills
