We are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge online and print products aimed at the international Adult English Language Learning market.
The role of Commissioning Editor for ELT Adult Publishing is to commission appropriate ELT content and manage successful print and digital/online content development. It involves commissioning authors/writers and working closely with international markets, and the in-house or freelance project team to work to high level and detailed working schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. The role requires good financial knowledge with the responsibility of managing a P+L and being a key decision maker for a key content area. The Commissioning Editor has commissioning experience and the ability to manage in house and freelance teams and/or multiple projects

The ideal candidate will possess:
• Demonstrable understanding and have experience of ELT teaching and learning contexts
• Management experience of cross-functional teams
• Experience of complex multi-dependent projects
• Demonstrable, market-focused ELT publishing experience at project leadership level and a proven track record of successful product development
• Experience of working with a range of digital/online products
• Experience of successful team-working
