JOB SUMMARY
The Dir, Financial Reporting is responsible for directing the preparation of financial reports, including SEC filings (current, quarterly and annual reports), and analysis and interpretation of financial operating results. Liaise with various finance and business partners to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting; develop and deliver explanations for key variances.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Coordinate publication of multiple internal financial reports, including monthly management reports
Oversee preparation of external financial reports, including SEC filings, annual reports and bank borrower financial statements at period-end (quarter and annual)
Oversee preparation of special registration statements and coordination of administrative matters for debt and equity transactions
Direct analysis and interpretation of financial operating results
Direct research on accounting and financial reporting issues as needed
Coordinate to ensure information required for management reporting is accurate, and drives resolution of any issues
Supervise direct report(s) including the completion of performance reviews and ensuring adequate training, knowledge of accounting rules, company systems and overall business performance
Coordinate Board of Director financial presentations
Perform other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure

Ability to supervise and motivate others
Advanced ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets)
Knowledge of accounting theory and practices, including SEC reporting rules and regulations and financial statement requirements
Knowledge of cable television products and services
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience
CPA/Master’s preferred
Related Work Experience Number of Years
Financial reporting and/or accounting experience 8-10
Management experience 5+
Hyperion Essbase software experience preferred
