Responsibilities
Working directly with the VP of Creative, design managers, outside vendors and other internal partners this position is responsible for the development and execution of graphic design strategies, style-guide portfolios, branding and packaging toolkits and other creative materials for Universal Brand Development properties including animation and live action.
Responsible for managing and delivering against assigned projects, participating in the creative process, presenting concepts and ideas and communicate them clearly and concisely.
Partners with character art group to ensure cohesive concepts, editorial and storyline are executed
Build relationships with third party content providers to establish trust, communication flow and design collaboration.
Participates and contributes in team brainstorm and ideation sessions
Responsibilities:
Style guide, asset packs and seasonal deliveries to align with business priorities
Packaging guidelines and subsequent approvals
Responsibility for designated product category expertise and partnership with PD team
Presentation of work to CDD leadership
Qualifications/Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience working as a graphic designer and as project owner/lead
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience with film based entertainment style guide development (animation highly preferred)
Background in toys, fashion, home, consumables or related consumer products
Experience with fashion graphics and textiles a plus
Strong ability to research and forecast trends in fashion, home and hardlines
Expert level proficiency in Adobe CS, Photoshop, Indesign
Excellent communication skills
