DESCRIPTION:
• Provide support to the Vice President, Broadcast Operations by managing daily calendar, schedule meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements, expense reports and other related tasks.
• Coordinate the creation and distribution of the weekly Broadcast Operations Memo outlining procedures, off-air times, contact information, personnel location, and other associated information as well as manage the duplication and distribution of Broadcast Operations paperwork for weekly on air needs.
• Manage department calendar.
• Support commercial traffic during periods of peak workload (NFL, NCAA basketball tournament) by providing assistance with development of formats, rotations and other related paperwork.
• Track, code and process invoices for the department.
• Weekend hours required during NFL and NCAA studio operation.
• Support department Directors and Managers as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Previous experience supporting a senior level executive and department group
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast paced, demanding environment
• Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of management and staff
• Extremely strong time management and organizational skills
• Expert computer skills including knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to handle multiple assignments within strict deadlines
• Precise proofreading and highly proficient attention to detail
• Ability to work on weekends
