DESCRIPTION:
At EcoMedia, the National Programs team represents our mission in action. EcoMedia is seeking a talented Analyst, Program Impact and Research to join and support the National Programs team’s social impact work. This position will have a special focus on impact data collection, analysis and reporting to help support the execution of our programs and generate tangible social impact in communities in collaboration with brands and nonprofits.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Help maintain National Programs data management systems (including Salesforce) to ensure accurate and up to the minute data related to all facets of projects, programs, impact, etc.
• In collaboration with the team, refine and apply an impact framework and metrics so that EcoMedia asks the right questions and collects the right data.
• Help produce quarterly and annual reviews of EcoMedia’s social impact, key trends, data, and learnings.
• Research and recommend best-in-class social impact measures and approaches. Help develop and/or update tools to calculate, manage and report social impact and help design and implement EcoMedia’s social impact data and reporting methodology.
• Compile and enter into Salesforce and other data management systems all impact related data provided by nonprofits, brands, and other stakeholders, as well as data collected from external sources as appropriate. Ensure data integrity and ease of access for reporting.
• Review nonprofit project agreements and statement of work documents and nonprofit completion reports to ensure impact data matches EcoMedia standards, help conduct data analysis on program performance.
• Conduct impact analysis for a range of EcoMedia social impacts and generate impact reports; review and verify data quality; and research and identify comparative data sets as needed for reporting and other impact measurement activities.
• Research and compile information into reports or PowerPoint presentations on broad national trends in areas including philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, technology-based giving platforms, cause-marketing, and other relevant topics.
• As directed, conduct research on nonprofits and advertisers, and help identify and source qualified projects and funding opportunities to be presented to CBS advertisers.
• Other projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-5 years experience in data analytics, management consulting, media, marketing, corporate social responsibility, or related field preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Functional knowledge of media and advertising, social impact, nonprofits, and corporate social responsibility preferred
• Organized, detail oriented, proactive, able to multi-task and manage multiple concurrent responsibilities and requests
• Work well under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
• Team-oriented, strategic thinker with ability to work independently
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Salesforce a big plus
• Interest in and commitment to creating positive social impact
• Solution-oriented among adversity and displays a positive approach to all problems
• Comfortable in a face-paced environment, with a can-do attitude
