Job Title Sr. Tablet Marketing Manager
I. Job Summary
| Major goals and objectives.
Manage circulation programs for the select group of tablet editions. Develop and execute new acquisition and retention programs to achieve circulation goals. Work with Consumer Marketing brand teams to incorporate tablet promotions into existing sources. Coordinate approvals for the use of Amazon and Barnes and Noble logos and images. Assist in set-up and promotions for launching titles on new platforms.

Coordinate and execute internal and external new acquisition programs for a select group of tablet editions. Work with partners such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Zinio to facilitate promotional efforts and develop programs executed by partners. Initiate multi-title promotions and promotional templates that can be used by a variety of titles. Complete set-up requirements for adding titles to new platforms and assist in promotions supporting those launches. Manage sweeps programs used for promotional efforts.

Work closely with Consumer Marketing brand teams to incorporate tablet promotions into existing circulation sources. Attend promotion manager and direct mail meetings to provide updates to the group and discuss promotional opportunities. Facilitate in creating database models to be used by email, direct mail and other channels.

Central contact for the company to approve the use of images, logos and copy with Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Editorial liaison for communications regarding tablet edition promotions.

Manage Amazon and Barnes and Noble publisher portals providing updated images and descriptions to be used by the partner.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education:
A bachelors degree preferably Business/Marketing or MBA. Additional experience will be considered in of a degree.
Experience:
Requires five years total business experience with three years in direct marketing activity. MBA or publishing internship training will be considered in lieu of experience.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Principles of marketing management, finance, and direct marketing methods and techniques. Analytical and numerical aptitude. The ability to use computer and tablet technology. Must be detail oriented and profit minded. Must be able to prioritize multiple projects and work toward deadlines. Strong written and oral presentation skills and basic managerial talent.
