Job Summary:
Responsible for informing and executing strategic initiatives designed to support the success of Comcast's West Division Residential Direct Sales organization. Proactively identifies opportunities for increasing customer sales volume, improving processes, and/or realizing efficiencies. Responsible for launching and scaling new Comcast products and processes by coordinating channel development initiatives, which will require translating strategic priorities into execution plans in line with our 'One Comcast' vision. Directs the development and ongoing maintenance of standardized operational guidelines and process controls, and leads Regional and Divisional adherence to those guidelines. Regularly interacts with Division and Regional Senior Leadership teams to communicate strategies, execute plans, and manage expectations.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Establishes process for collecting feedback and routinely leveraging expertise of field and Regional leadership
• Acts as liaison between National Direct Sales, Division and Regional Direct Sales organization
• Partners with Division and Regional Marketing and Sales Operations teams to develop program and processes that drive value within the sales channel
• Persuades, convinces, and influences others to support a change agenda, including alignment to 'One Comcast' and 'Working together to Win Together' priorities
• Works cross functionally to gain commitment to new initiatives. Develops senior leadership as well as front line communication plans, leveraging Internal Communication teams, for all initiatives and product launches.
• Communicates persuasively and effectively with cross-functional leadership teams and internal partners (e.g. Marketing, Finance, IT, Legal, etc). Develops executive-level communications which effectively support the business' position.
• Drive the customer experience through best practice sharing and helping with regional direction
• Formulates execution approaches and oversees the implementation of initiatives with minimal disruption to BAU field operations.
Core Responsibilities:
• Develops and implements subscriber acquisition programs.
• Identifies and pursues new business and growth opportunities. Creates and maintains measurement tools to track business growth.
• Manages small staff of direct reports and relationships with larger group of system level, indirect reports. Manages contract files and customer databases.
• Grows commercial video and data business. Strengthens relationships with key area developers and property management companies.
• Possesses strong knowledge of housing industry and advanced telecommunications services, including internet and digital cable television.
• Demonstrates proficient negotiation skills and ability to work with contracts.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and financial/analytical skills.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
