The Marketing Assistant provides support to the Campaigns Marketing team for Pearson Higher Education who are responsible for developing, launching, and measuring a number of key product and thematic integrated marketing campaigns. Campaigns creation includes a high degree of digital, social, and traditional marketing channels including event strategy and execution. In addition to general administrative support, this person will handle extensive creation and distribution of team communications as well as campaign communication via email, executive summary reports, blog posts, and social media.
Responsibilities:
• Act as campaign and communication administrative liaison regarding creative aspects, events, conference planning, social media, press, and PR related activities
• Write and prepare eNewsletter communication(s) and updates
This position will be filled in our Boston or Hoboken, NJ offices.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word,Excel and PowerPoint), Google docs/mail/calendar etc.
• Very strong organizational, written and verbal, and interpersonal communications skills required
• Familiarity with social media and event planning preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role required
• Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts, Business) preferred
