Blackboard Transact™ is an integrated technology platform that helps improve the student experience and campus safety, while helping streamline business operations and increasing revenue. The Blackboard Transact platform includes capabilities within two integrated modules:
• Commerce Management: facilitates campus ID card issuance, cashless payment processing, account management and reporting on-campus, off-campus, and online.
• Security Management: monitors all campus activity using integrated door access control, video surveillance and mass notification capabilities.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Marketing Manager works with Blackboard Transact teams to design and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives directed at students on campus, on behalf of our higher education institution clients. Campaigns include collateral materials, email communications, merchant promotion recruitment and fulfillment, on-campus signage and digital media content. The Program Marketing Manager provides secondary support on program website maintenance, social media messaging, and direct mail production. The position will require direct interaction with client personnel on campaign development and execution. The Program Marketing Manager is expected to design and produce custom marketing materials for client card programs utilizing in-house templates and design tools, and provide general marketing and presentation support services for internal teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Campaign Management - design and manage custom marketing campaigns for Blackboard Transact client co-marketing programs:
◦ Project management for and execution of custom, multi-channel campus card program marketing campaigns. Coordination with client personnel.
◦ Design and execution of print and electronic collateral; card program brochures, inserts, banner ads, digital display ads, card art, PowerPoint slides, digital slides/posters, etc.
• Cardholder E-Mail Communications – execute email campaigns on behalf of client programs, including development of messaging calendar, updating design templates, developing messaging, managing lists/targeting, reporting results
• Promotion Recruitment – acquire exclusive cardholder offers for participating merchants at managed card programs; market through managed cardholder communication channels
• Merchant Collateral Support – Manage on-going merchant promotional signage process (FROW, etc.), creation of sales & program overview sheets, recruitment mailings, in-store merchant signage, and other merchant communications as needed.
• Mobile Coupon Program – design templates, QA fulfillment, manage results reporting.
• Reporting– manage reporting for clients and internal team; including sales data, cardholder spending by category/merchant, chronological card program performance, direct mail/deposit results, email/coupon open rates, etc.
• Design Templates - create and maintain in-house design templates and collateral samples to manage for new and existing programs.
• Internal Sales Presentation Materials – corporate sales and partner presentations, client presentations, etc.
• Vendor Management - Oversee select print and online vendor relationships.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
• BA required, with a focus in marketing and project management
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
• Highly proficient in use of desktop publishing (e.g., The Adobe Suite, InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop, etc.)
• Proficient use of MS Suite
• Experience managing multiple projects
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong work ethic, professional, goal-oriented, strong team player
• Project management skills
• Effective multi-tasking and problem solving
• Effective time management skills
WORK EXPERIENCE
• 2+ years of relevant work experience strongly preferred
