AEG Presents is also the largest producer of music festivals in North America from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
This position will have an active role in the monthly management reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting, new business modeling and corporate allocations.
Essential Duties:
-Track actual vs. budget/re-forecast, analyze variances and ensure variance
commentaries are submitted
-Participate with preparation of monthly re-forecast consolidation and executive financial
package
-Coordinate quarterly business review calls and assist with preparation
-Coordinate budget meetings
-Drives the budget & re-forecast process
-Develop and maintain allocation schedules and distribute to
accounting
-Maintain budget and re-forecast information in the reporting system
-Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
-Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
-Develop new business models in conjunction with the Director of Business Strategy & Analysis
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
• Area of Study: Accounting, Finance or Economics required
• Years of related work experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in reporting,
consolidation and financial analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel) and ability to learn
required business systems
• Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow
through skills.
• Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications (if applicable):
• Accounting/GAAP knowledge
• JD Edwards/Oracle Knowledge
• Concert/Live Entertainment experience
