AEG Live, the live-entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG, is dedicated to all aspects of live contemporary music performance: touring, one-offs, sponsorship, festivals, and special events with seventeen+ regional offices and over thirty-seven-state-of the-art venues. AEG Live’s most recent tour roster includes The Rolling Stones, Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull, and Justin Bieber.
AEG Live is also the largest producer of music festivals in North America from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
This position will have an active role in the monthly management reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting, new business modeling and corporate allocations.
Essential Duties:
1. Track actual vs. budget/reforecast, analyze variances and ensure variance commentaries are submitted.
2. Participate with preparation of monthly reforecast consolidation and executive financial package.
3. Coordinate quarterly business review calls and assist with preparation.
4. Coordinate budget meetings.
5. Drives the budget & reforecast process.
6. Develop and maintain corporate allocation schedules and distribute to corporate accounting.
7. Maintain budget and reforecast information in the reporting system.
8. Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed.
9. Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.
10. Develop new business models in conjunction with the Director of Business Strategy & Analysis.
Required Qualifications:
1. A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
Area of Study: Accounting, Finance or Economics required
2. Years of related work experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis.
3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel) and ability to learn required business systems
4. Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
5. Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
6. Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical
7. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
8. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
9.. Accounting/GAAP knowledge preferred
10.. Experience in live concert business preferred
