Responsibilities
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for software and database development in a fast paced sports broadcasting environment. This project based role will entail collaborations with Engineering and IT teams to develop and revamp workflows and processes.
This position will have the opportunity to integrate and develop in multiple system languages and OS environments, including but not limited to DB scripts, operating systems, application software, and network connectivity in a professional broadcast facility. Engage with manufactures and vendors to create and implement workflow designs utilizing API integration. Adapt new and existing code to develop cutting edge workflows for broadcast applications utilizing various software languages and hardware platforms.
Job Duties
Design, code and debug applications in various software languages
Lead and manage development projects, train engineers, and review code
Analyzes business requirements for system infrastructure
Integrate new and antiquated software with existing systems design and development
Telnet network programming, and computer security
Integrate systems and networking for device control and function
Utilize API’s and proprietary programs to streamline work processes & establish needs assessments
Integration and development for new and existing systems using various languages
Implements hardware and systems software upgrades to existing servers
Support, maintain and document software functionality
Play an active technical role in the planning phase of new projects
Implement localization or globalization of software
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and cross-functional skills. Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field

Desired Qualifications
4+years of software/code development or related experience, broadcast experience preferred
Self-motivated, team player who enjoys technical projects and challenges
Internet Information Services (IIS). Must have extensive experience in developing applications written in Visual Studio C# and ASP.NET. SQL Server Administration, Deploying SQL Servers. Must be skilled in reverse engineering and troubleshooting existing applications
Understanding of the following software languages: Java, .NETJSP, JavaScript, Web services, SOAP, XML, MySQL, UNIX, Linux, AJAX, Windows, Apple ,MVC and HTML5 experience is a plus
Highly effective testing and trouble shooting skills in numerous operating environments
