Overview and Responsibilities
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist the VP of FP&A in managing the creation of the annual Budgets, quarterly Estimates, monthly updates and business plans for the Domestic Transaction business unit
• Act as second in command for the department when the VP is absent
• Reconcile quarterly forecasts to ensure consistency with submissions held by the Corporate team
• Oversee the analysis of monthly and quarterly performance to plan
• Work closely with Accounting team regarding monthly and quarterly close and reporting including managing the quarterly inventory obsolescence analysis
• Research and inquire variances to financial plan to gain understanding of cause and impacts to revised forecast/monthly submission
• Develop financial models and analysis to determine financial strategy and profitability for key business segments
• Coordinate and provide financial input to Corporate team regarding Greenlight analysis, ultimate projects and 5-Year Plan, ensuring that we are making sound financial decisions
• Oversee quarterly ultimate updates and submissions
• Ensure the Hyperion system is run smoothly, accurately and up to date; recommend improvement when needed
• Utilize, automate, and improve the existing applications that are being used
• Perform on-going reporting and analytical projects as well as on an ad-hoc basis as requested by Senior Management
• Able to perform other special projects when needed
Basic Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements
• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• MBA preferred
• 5-8 years of financial planning and/or accounting experience
• Home video / consumer package / digital transaction background preferred
• Ability to streamline models and increase data accuracy using Excel
• Hyperion Essbase preferred
• Strong aptitude for financial analysis and modeling

• Attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills are required; able to research thoroughly and present accurate information precisely and confidently
• Must be able to think and reason logically to resolve issues and problems
• Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and flexible
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi task – ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and complex business
• Well-developed analytical and conceptual skills with sound judgment and decision-making ability
