As the Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics, you will be responsible for taking research, data and information – and creating compelling, industry relevant content. The ideal candidate is a creative, driven, hands-on, communications professional with exceptional ability to connect the dots between data and industry dialogue. You will lead partner, custom and proprietary research initiatives; working with internal data science and analyst teams, external research teams and our Fraud Lab to craft industry relevant insights and stories. This person will be working closely with the Vice President, Corporate Marketing to develop, integrate, and implement a broad range of curated assets and activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the company and its leadership.
What You'll Be Doing
• Develop and implement a strategic data-driven content plan to advance IAS brand identity, broaden awareness of its vision, and amplify company visibility.
• Develop targeted communication and go to market strategies, across email, web, social and media channels.
• Gather, analyze and interpret marketing and research data to package into compelling marketing assets.
• Manage IAS relationships with agencies and other external communications providers.
• Organize and present supporting data and success metrics from driving ongoing external communication initiatives (e.g. impressions, traffic, etc.)
• Support measurement execution focused on ad/media effectiveness, brand health and competitive landscape.
• Stay informed on evolving media landscape, including research and emerging trends.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry ecosystem: our partners, thought leaders, press.
• Proactively educate internal teams on research, tools and initiatives.
• Support press inquiries or issues as applicable.
What We'll Expect From You
• 5-7+ years relevant experience in public relations, advertising, tech, media or communications, external and internal
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing a comprehensive research, content and communications program to advance an organization’s mission and goals
• Master story teller with high attention to detail and strong presentation skills
• Innately inquisitive, taking industry topics or ‘buzz’ and see how IAS can further the conversation, provide a unique or proprietary insight or answer industry questions
• Excellent persuasive written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and with blurry boundaries regarding roles/responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player with and the ability to influence, especially partners outside the marketing organization
• A strong understanding of the tech startup and digital advertising industry
• Ability to be a strategic thinker one moment, jump back to details and planning the next
• Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative
• Self-starter approach to work and strong problem solver
• BA/BS degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred
