Responsibilities
• Pilot new show ideas/concepts and field pitches from outside producers and internal development.
• Consistently innovate and create new production deliverables for use across multiple digital platforms (Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Musical.ly, etc)
• Oversee creative quality of video projects as they’re handed off to other teams
• Manage new content concepts from pitch to pilot with heavy emphasis on pacing and originality
• Manage small team of producers and editors with focus on creative content development
• Encourage innovative thought and behavior and serve as a creative example to all staff employees
Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of video production experience
Desired Characteristics
• Enthusiastic about entertainment news and pop culture
• Must be proficient in all forms and uses of Social Media
• Strong contacts with producer, directors, and editors that specialize in digital content
• Proactive thinker with ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
• Spent time at a media company that focused on content development (agency, network, production company, or digital group, or social platform)
• Comprehensive psychographic understanding of the millennial demographic as it relates to video content production
• Expert knowledge of video editing and original production techniques
