Required Skills:
What you’ll be doing:
• Support Global Events & Sales Planning staff through a variety of projects including brainstorming and researching event marketing, promotional opportunities, vendors, concepts, and promotional merchandise.
• Contribute to conception and development of event and materials and assist with organizing information for post-event recaps.
• Assist staff with the development and execution of internal and external events.
• May need to staff screenings and other company events.
• Assist Global Events & Sales Planning staff with general administrative duties (e.g., organize event RSVPs, create Sales conference packets, manage promo item and client gift inventory, etc.).
• Assist with tracking and maintaining event and department budgets.
• Research restaurants, hotels and meeting venues and update database.
• Other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
• Creative and innovative with a passion for movies, and events is a MUST.
• Familiarity with overall entertainment industry and marketing trends
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to organize large amounts of information.
• Self-starter, well-organized, able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexible, agreeable, and a team player.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet savvy.
• Event planning and design experience an asset.
• Minimum of 3 days per week.
