The Crown Publishing Group seeks an editorial assistant for the SVP, Publisher and VP, Associate Publisher for Crown, Broadway Books, Hogarth, Archetype, and Three Rivers Press. A large part of this role is providing day-to-day administrative support. Additional responsibilities may include: reading and evaluating manuscripts, coordinating the editorial and production process, and special projects. This is an excellent way to learn the editorial process through hands on experience.
Candidates should possess a literary sensibility, a passion for reading, and be creative. Strong communication, organization, and writing skills are essential. The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines is required. Prior book publishing experience preferred.
