Responsibilities
This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 24 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are complete.
Role Purpose
The Engineering Assistant is responsible for supporting Engineering organization effort related to the PyeongChang Olympic Games.
Responsibilities
Organize, scanning & pack up of Engineering Technical equipment
Reconciling inventory and assist with replenishment of parts
Utilize NBC Olympic software programs (VIS & OEMS) to provide information to Technical Logistics
Build equipment lists and pick lists from OEMS system
Build shipment request lists for deployment to Olympic on site facilities
Assist with the preparations of video, audio, fiber and Data cable, that is sent to the venues
Other technical and physical tasks required for the installation of a television production system
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
College Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum one (1) years’ experience as a utility, gaffer, grip, production assistant or related
Knowledge of television equipment preferred
Basic knowledge of broadcast or production logistics or related preferred
Must be computer proficient in Microsoft Windows
