Content Marketing Manager – Campaigns Marketing
Location is U.S. based - remote; preference given to candidates in Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; NY,NY; Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio, TX; and Chandler, AZ
The Campaigns Marketing team for North America is seeking an experienced Content Marketing Manager to plan, create, develop and optimize content around targeted campaigns across our higher education business areas and our K12 Online and Blended Learning group.
Our target audiences are influenced by valuable, relevant content focused on their needs and interests and this individual will create a well-designed and executed content marketing plan to fulfill these needs as well as drive awareness, favorability, interest and demand for our markets.
We’re seeking an individual who can think strategically to plan content initiatives around campaigns, execute hands on content work with Campaign Planners, Managers and Strategists, and work collaboratively with Performance Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Web, and Global Marketing stakeholders to ensure Campaign Marketing’s initiatives are aligned with Pearson Global Content Strategy.
This individual will be responsible for developing a range of content related to various campaigns and curating campaign-focused content to maximize use, refresh existing, and drive the creation of new content. Will work closely with stakeholders to determine KPIs and the best ways to measure the effectiveness and contribution of content to the individual campaigns. This individual will also be responsible for reporting on content performance to the Campaign Marketing team, both qualitatively and quantitatively, to enable optimization during the life of a campaign.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
• · A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English.
• · A minimum of 5 years’ working experience in content creation and management with at least 2 years’ experience in driving and creating strategy.
• · Excellent written and communication skills and the ability to skillfully interview industry leaders, executives, customers, and students for content initiatives.
• · Experience in creating all types of content and be willing to demonstrate prior work outlining individual contribution.
• · Strong project management capabilities to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
• · Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and act quickly with information on hand.
• · Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders at all levels and resolve conflicting expectations to ensure buy-in on content strategy and creation.
• · Ability to work quickly and execute content and plans to impact audience and markets during a key sales initiative.
• · Experience in Education industry a plus.
