DESCRIPTION:
The Sr. .NET Developer is a critical resource working within a team of experienced analysts, developers, and business resources to develop and maintain software used for Distribution & Studio services for B2B enhancement projects as well supporting the application from technical side.
Responsibilities:
• Build solutions with .NET 4.0/ ASP.NET webforms/ ASP.NET MVC / C#.NET / SQL Server 2008,2012 / WCF Web Services WebAPI, JavaScript, experience in AngularJS is big plus.
• Maintain and develop new features in existing applications.
• Participate in energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule.
• Work with other developers and business analysts to develop, design and write applications systems and programs.
• Develop documentation and help in partnerships with Business Analysts.
• Provide guidance and assistance to the applications users and support teams on all aspects of application deployment, training and support, including
• Installation
• Configuration
• First and second tier support
• First and second tier troubleshooting
• Provide clear, consistent, regular communication with all project stakeholders at all levels, including presentations to senior management, creating agendas and meeting minutes.
• Identify and resolve project issues, including issue tracking and escalation.
• May assist the Application Manager (or Director) in the creation of project plans.
• Actively participate in applications planning/strategy meetings and provide input on the most appropriate and effective use of applications.
• Develop software code that conforms to IS&T standards for quality and conformity.
• Develop unit test plans, manages and tests data, including mapping data, coordinating test files, and facilitating data transfer with client.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in system analysis, programming, project implementations and technical management is required.
• Minimum 4 years of professional IT experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in C#.Net/ASP.NET.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2005, 2008, 2012 preferred), with the ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008, 2012, stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS a plus.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Good JavaScript skills.
• Good experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
• Knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5 Framework, including Visual Studio. 2008/2010/2012, C#.NET, ASP.NET, ASMX, WCF, Web Services, and Web API.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework, Unity or any IoC, MVC 4.0, LINQ, Razor, TDD, AJAX, Silverlight, and/or jQuery.
• Angular JS is big plus.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
• Must have strong interpersonal and organization skills and be able to communicate. clearly with all levels of the business including peers, technical management, customers and/or external vendors.
• Must be able to work in a team environment or as a sole contributor.
• Must have willingness and aptitude to embrace new ideas and master concepts rapidly.
• Experience in B2B public facing website is a big plus.
