Responsibilities
The Sr. Program Analyst’s will be a member of the Parks Technology Revenue Operations Systems team. This person will be a part of a team who is primarily responsible for defining, developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining the Food and Retail Point-of-Sale, Food Inventory/Recipe and Warehouse management systems, along with other associated systems. This could include writing, coding, testing, analyzing and supporting software programs and applications while researching for problem resolution. The Sr. Programmer Analyst will also setup and maintain system configuration and perform administration of Revenue Operations software systems. The Sr. Programmer Analyst will serve as a key contact with the food and merchandise revenue operations and food shared services teams.
•Provide support for various software upgrades and installations
•Provide a system support role for day-to-day systems operations
•Liaise with other technical staff to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems
•Manage vendor software relationships
•Define and manage small projects, timelines, deliverables and communication to the business
•Collaborate with other internal IT teams as needed to support the business requirements
•Lead the team in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments
•Design, run and monitor software tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
•Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments
•Analyze and document existing software solutions
•Collaborate with internal partners in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications
•Provide regular status reporting
•Support during non-business hours as needed
•Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities
•On call 24 hours/day, 365 days/year
•Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required; majors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field preferred
•Minimum 3-5 years of work experience supporting a large Point of Sale application is preferred with solution planning and execution of installations, upgrades and hotfixes
•Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
•Experience supporting a large Point of Sale application is required; POS in the food or merchandise industry or Clarity Software application is preferred
•Experience with relational database and operating systems experience with Microsoft SQL Server
•Experience with general scripting (Batch, VBScript, PowerShell, etc.)
•Experience working with various Windows platforms Windows 7/10, Server 2008R2 and up)
•On-call availability on a regular basis
•Willingness to travel and or work weekends with short notice.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Be able to stand or walk long period of time
•Must occasionally lift, carry, pull, push and/or move up to 25 pounds
Desired Characteristics
•Experience with FREEDOM-POS (MATRA/CLARITY/OMNICO)
•Experience with inventory/recipe management systems such as Eatec or JDA MMS
•Experience with intermediate programming languages (C#, .Net, ASP.Net, Windows Forms, WPF, MVC)
•Experience with inventory and purchasing software systems
•Excellent understanding of SQL database and query best practices including triggers, stored procedures and reporting using SSR
•Experience in the hospitality/retail industry
•Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
•Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively contribute to multiple projects in an efficient manner
•Ability to manage a high volume of details with excellent accuracy
•Strong track record meeting targets and objectives
•Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
•Ability to work collaboratively with cross-function peers
•Experience in the hospitality industry
•Results oriented with a history of problem resolution and prevention
•Effectively handle sensitive and confidential matters
