Guest Service Staff will act as the primary provider of direct services to guests when they are in Best Buy Theater. They are responsible for providing a safe environment for all guests beginning the moment they enter the facility. Provide a variety of customer service duties on behalf of the venue for its guests, in an expert, professional and friendly manner.
Essential Duties Include:
• Exceed guest expectations for service and satisfaction in all areas of the customer service.
• Resolving guest complaints and greeting guests,
• Keeping the area above and below the escalators clear
• Seating guests and assisting ADA patrons
• Answering guest questions, directing guests to important areas of the venue (restrooms, ATM, coat checks, VIP areas, and concert area) and providing additional assistance whenever necessary.
• Operate the various coat check rooms within established guidelines and procedures at the venue.
• Monitor guest conduct to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
• Scan tickets for entry into the venue.
• Monitoring the consumption of alcohol to ensure no under-age drinking is taking place and those guests consuming beverages are doing so responsibly.
• Understanding and enforcing all policies and procedures of the venue.
• Acting as a member of the emergency evacuation team by communicating with and directing guests during a facility emergency.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as deemed appropriate by Management and Supervisors.
Required Qualifications Include:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Positive attitude
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in conversational English and follow verbal and written directions.
• Be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs, unaided and for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to work in varying conditions as well as with a variety of people, cultures and ethnic backgrounds.
• Have reliable transportation
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
