Intern Duties Include:
•Assist with the maintenance and management of official social media platforms by updating with current events, responding to comments, questions, and messages
•Daily tasks that include filing daily audits, answering phones, prepping show files, ad packs for settlement, researching artists, cities, and venues for marketing purposes
•Website and social media optimization/analysis
•Day-to-day planning and administrative assistance
Internship Qualifications
•Appropriate major in related field to desired position
•Previous work experience (industry related experience is encouraged)
•Works well in a team environment
•Self-starter who takes initiative to work on the tasks at hand
•Clear verbal communication skills when reaching out to local media and requesting information on rates and proposals
•Commitment to 16-20 hours work per week during semester
•Provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
•Computer literacy in MS Office programs (or other programs if the position demands it, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.)
•Can provide own housing and transportation to and from AEG Presents office in Columbia, SC
