Wilshire Studios develops and produces engaging and innovative non-scripted, original programming for all media platforms. The studio is focused on attracting high caliber producing talent with the goal to create entertaining, thought-provoking and compelling programming. Wilshire produces E!’s signature "Live from the Red Carpet" series, which provides in-depth coverage of Hollywood’s biggest nights. The studio also produces “Syfy Presents Live from Comic-Con,” a three-night telecast which broadcasts live from one of the biggest fan conventions, San Diego Comic-Con. Wilshire has also produced 300 episodes of the dating game show “Baggage” for the Game Show Network. Additionally, Wilshire Studios is focused on growing and diversifying its slate to include docu-series, news programming, reality and competition formats. Wilshire Studios is a division of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.
Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will support two development executives within Wilshire Studios.
Job Duties
Distribute outlines, scripts, cuts, production & development related material, etc.
Maintain submission log and return materials where appropriate
Manage calendars, process expense reports, filing and perform other administrative duties as assigned
Determine importance of meeting requests and schedule accordingly
Assist with internal communications with staff as well as communications with clients
Arrange travel and all accommodations including comprehensive and detailed itineraries
Act as a liaison with all internal and external clients and departments
Coordinate staff meetings, conferences and client meetings as necessary
Update and maintain department lists, trackers and reports
Assist with market and competitive research for the team
General administrative duties include: answering telephones, scheduling, copying and, filing, and planning travel arrangements for executives
Cover for other assistants as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 1 year of administrative experience
Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Desired Characteristics
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working at an agency, studio or network preferred
• Administrative experience in a Creative Development or Programming department
• Experience working in the Entertainment or Digital Entertainment industry
• Superior organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work required
• Deep knowledge of video platforms & top digital entertainment talent, and knowledge of social media best practices a plus
Pleasant personality and fosters team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels, both internal and external
Attention to detail and demonstrated initiative
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple projects and deal with deadline pressures
Self starter with ability to follow through with minimal supervision
