Job Description:
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Assess conditions that impact existing business models to provide insight and context on market outlook for innovation partnerships.
• Build relationships with key partners to gain strong understanding of business operations and conduct appropriate analysis to drive growth.
• Generate market outlook for existing digital partner base and create longer term view that takes into account projections for new and existing lines of digital business.
• Manage and own strategic blueprint for growth for Global digital partners. Ensure that plan for growth syncs up to commercial realities of partner performance.
• Develop “scorecards” of metrics to analyze at the partner level and work with BD leads to make recommendations to impact acceleration of growth and intelligent deal making and investments.
• Direct and evolve the suite of reporting that informs WMG Global organization on performance of Global Digital account base.
• Support Business Development team on growth initiatives with account base.
• Independently identify growth opportunities by applying rigorous analytics to the business performance and outlook of key accounts.
• Identify and monitor new opportunities and competitive trends through industry data; offer recommendations on responses or actions as appropriate
• Collaborate with cross functional colleagues across WEA and R&A to exchange insights.
Special Competencies/Skills/Preferences:
• Prior experience leading implementation of market intelligence process a plus
• Experience integrating and analyzing large sets of data to develop actionable insights and business strategies
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be a self-starter with energy, strong work ethic, drive and determination to accomplish goals
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in previous work environments and be able to set priorities, stay focused, and set clear milestones.
Education/Experience Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or related field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in analytics
• Demonstrated ability to effectively build partnerships and influence stakeholders and decision making at all levels of an organization
• Proven track recorded of strong collaborative, organizational and people development skills
• Knowledge of the entertainment industry and key partners
