Pearson VUE is looking for a Temporary Associate Recruiter to assist with high volume recruiting. The position is located at the Bloomington, MN office, with the duration of the assignment being approximately 4 months. The Associate Recruiter plans, develops and implements recruitment staffing strategies for high volume positions within assigned areas. The Associate Recruiter works closely and in cooperation with generalists and the recruiting team, managers and hiring management to determine critical staffing needs. Assures that all open, approved positions are posted appropriately and job requisitions are closed when positions are filled.
• Responsible for posting accuracy, updating and maintenance of job opportunities on Pearson job board.
• Reviews candidate’s resumes and interviews applicants to obtain work history, educations, training, job skills and salary requirements, to provide information about Pearson VUE and the position.
• Coordinate the screening and interviewing of candidates by hiring managers, and when necessary works with third party agencies to identify and recruit potential contract placements.
• Utilizes Internet on-line recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
• Closes completed requisitions.
• Prepares and ensures all the paper work and document files are completed for new employment.
• Communicates with functional department managers and Human Resource director on recruiting and sourcing strategy, forming and clarifying descriptions of opening positions, and reporting recruiting progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• BA in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of related recruiting experience.
• Some high volume fast paced recruiting or staffing agency experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of application tracking systems and life-cycle recruiting a plus.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
• Excellent Communication skills including consultation, collaboration and influence are a must.
• Strong sourcing skills with demonstrated success utilizing current on-line sourcing techniques, networking and building pipelines.
• Comprehensive behavioral based interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Strong consultative skills to support hiring managers and candidates.
• High attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, Taleo preferred.
