Position Summary:
The Vice President will manage the Connected Vehicle OEM Product Management group. This position maintains oversight of the OEM Product Management team whose responsibilities it is to provide business and developmental leadership to SXM's automotive clients in selection, development and final in-vehicle implementation of SXM connected vehicle services.
This responsibility is primarily focused on B2B relationships and internal communication with the SXM developmental organization. This role will be critical in maximizing Sirius XM's revenue opportunities through OEM pre-paid service trials and consumer self-pay services.
The successful candidate will have a strong grasp of how OEM's conduct business with Tier One suppliers and skill in being able to ascertain the core drivers behind requested programs and change requests.
This position will report to the GVP and GM of Connected Vehicle and Infotainment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Management of OEM Product Management team
◦ Oversight of all new and existing OEM program change requests (CR's):
# pre-change evaluation with SXM's OEM clients
# pre-change evaluation with SXM Development community
# development of CR (with client) including high level specifications
# presentation of CR to the SXM Steering Committee and participation in working teams to solution requested client request
# communication of SXM's CR response to client (with OEM Partnership team).
◦ Yearly trips to OEM locations in E.U., U.S. and other key OEM decision making locations for client presentation (in collaboration with PM Innovation SME) and sell-in of new SXM services and or platform utilization.
◦ Oversight of SXM's RF(x) responses:
# Determination of the proposed business model response
# In collaboration with Finance, development of a financial model
# Solicitation of internal approvals
◦ Execution of a written RF(x) response
◦ Oversight of day-to-day OEM business and developmental issues resolution.
◦ Monthly meetings with each client on their site in business reviews
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Management of OEM Product Management team
Minimum Qualifications:
• B.A. in business, finance or related field or equivalent experience. MBA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years in Product Management or similar B2B role
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role

Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
