Wilshire Studios develops and produces engaging and innovative non-scripted, original programming for all media platforms. A division of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, Wilshire is invigorating its slate with a focus on attracting high caliber producing talent and diversifying its content strategy with thought-provoking docu-series, news programming, reality and competition formats. Wilshire produces E!’s signature "Live from the Red Carpet" series, which provides in-depth coverage of Hollywood’s biggest nights. The studio also produces “Syfy Presents Live from Comic-Con,” a three-night telecast which broadcasts live from one of the biggest fan conventions, San Diego Comic-Con. Wilshire has also produced 300 episodes of the dating game show “Baggage” for the Game Show Network.
Responsibilities
Create and guide implementation of cross-portfolio strategic business plans for the cable studios group, including creation of strategic marketing objectives/briefs, identification of creative concepts, budget scoping, business case analysis/approval and design and implementation of plans.
Job Duties
Track and manage studio assets and identify ways to maximize and enhance asset value
Conduct analyses to identify growth target opportunities, develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities and successfully execute against these strategies
Develop bespoke marketing campaigns when needed in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
Prepare presentations and deal summaries to garner stakeholder buy-in and communicate projects to senior management team
Project manage multi-faceted campaigns and content initiatives
Work in partnership with network marketing teams to align strategies when appropriate to maximize asset value
Support post-mortem analyses on effectiveness of initiatives against original business and marketing objectives
Work closely with Brand Development team, licensing agents and licensees to manage all cable studios IP
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 7 years of experience in television marketing, advertising, business development or strategy role
Demonstrated ability to strategize and implement marketing campaigns
Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Keynote

Desired Qualifications
MBA strongly preferred
Experience in digital/social media strategy
Experience with international television distribution, domestic distribution and/or licensing/franchise
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self motivated
Passion for entertainment
Ability to collaborate and build rapport
