Overview
The Content Distribution division of NBCUniversal is responsible for distribution of NBCUniversal’s portfolio of national cable networks, including USA Network, SyFy, E!, Bravo, CNBC, MSNBC, NBC Sports Network, Golf Channel, Regional Sports Networks, and others, to both multi-channel video programming distributors (MVPDs) and new digital MVPDs.
In this Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role, the successful candidate will contribute to the business by modeling critical business variables, providing dynamic and insightful analysis and being an integral part of all aspects of the FP&A scope, including long range strategic plans, annual budget and quarterly forecasts. The Senior Analyst role provides a terrific opportunity to be on the forefront of analysis for the rapidly changing Pay TV industry. In addition, he/she will gain exposure to the activities of the broader CDG FP&A team by participating in ad hoc financial planning and analysis projects for the division.
Responsibilities
Support extensive analysis and scenario planning during FP&A reporting cycles including quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long range strategic planning
Run and improve subscriber forecasting models, data analytics capabilities, and automated dashboards
Identify key industry subscriber trends and develop processes to align internal data and external research
Participate in subscriber reporting and communications to CDG Finance and Sales leadership
Assist in ad hoc financial planning and analysis projects across revenue and cost operations
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS 4-year degree in business, accounting or finance or similar
2 years of finance experience
