Job Summary:
The Airport manager is responsible for all sales into the Chicago airports. This position is responsible for a personal sales budget and the overall sales budget of ORD and MDW. He/she works directly with clients, Clear Channel personnel, and airport employees – facilitating sales, working with operations, and maintaining relations. He/she plays a key role in the success of the business in planning and execution of sales development and program operations.
Primary Responsibilities
• Achieve personal and market sales budgets annually.
• Develop top line strategy and respective tactics driving revenue for ORD/MDW Airports. Identify and develop new opportunities to increase import sales into the Chicago airports. Market all available inventory opportunities to regional businesses as well as National Account Executives and other General Managers. Coordinate with the marketing team in development of target verticals and supporting sales collateral. Develop hit lists of top territory client opportunities within these verticals and disseminate and track sales through all National Account Executives and General Managers into the market.
• Identify opportunities for new inventory as they become available, and promptly release to all internal sales reps with clear description of location benefits
• Internal national staff and agency representatives in assigned territory.,
• Maintain strong relationships with Chicago political environment as directed by management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with management and sales teams of other Clear Channel entities in the city as well as in the general Chicago business environment. Interaction with these entities includes establishing relationships to initiate cross platform sales, and represent CCA at philanthropic and networking events.
• Support VP, Revenue Management in development of ORD/MDW Rate Cards while maintaining/optimizing these rates on an ongoing basis.
• Assist in the creation of sales proposals to secure highest revenue potential through rate optimization and solution-oriented approach.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client visits and on-site tours.
• Oversee sales pipeline for ORD/MDW.
• Lead special projects as required by Management.
Required Experience
• Minimum 5 years sales experience, managing and selling directly to clients and/or agencies. Media field preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred.

• Bachelor Degree
