DESCRIPTION:
CBS Radio Seattle (KMPS, KZOK, KJAQ, KFNQ) is looking for outgoing, reliable, hard working and creative individuals to join our promotions team. Ideal candidate is energetic, efficient and capable of multi-tasking in a lively fast paced environment. The right candidate will be a team player who takes initiative with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must possess working knowledge of event logistics and management. Organizational ability and attention to detail are critical. CBS Radio Seattle Promotion Assistants work an estimated 20 hours per week and must be available nights and weekends. CBS Radio Seattle is EOE.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Responsibilities include assisting with the daily operations of the CBS Radio Promotion department(s) including, but not limited to:
• Assists in planning and organizing events, promotions and contests.
• Acts as brand ambassador at on-site events. Serves as station liaison with event sponsors, station clients, listeners and media.
-On-Site event work includes: event set-up, engaging listeners, conducting games, breakdown and recaps.
• Work with marketing director and webmaster to provide and post compelling content on station website(s) immediately following event. This includes writing event summary, posting photos, video and audio clips.
• Must be familiar with all aspects of CBS radio Seattle programming and operations, as well as a knowledge of station contesting, format and events.
Valid driver’s license required, ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds, previous promotion and/or radio and promotion experience is a plus, but not required.
