We’re looking for a proactive individual to join us as a Sales Coordinator in our European Research Sales Team. You’ll enjoy providing administrative and project-related support, ultimately helping the team to achieve their revenue targets. This is an 18 month contract role in order to provide specific support as we transition and merge multiple systems and workflows into one. You‘ll be based in our London Campus amongst a number of relevant team members, and would be interacting with the full team throughout Europe. It’s essential you’re a team player, with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to learn new IT systems quickly.
This is a great opportunity for someone whom wants to progress in their career and gain experience in many aspects of the sales process and to gain broad insight into the commercial side of research publishing.
Responsibilities
• Act as sales expert for one CRM system, encouraging adoption of the system by the sales team, troubleshooting issues, and providing user guides and tips where needed
• Ensure the system remains accurate and clean, editing information yourself or working with others to do so
• Input leads and data into the system to allow sales teams to build a strong pipeline and story to support customer discussions
• Conduct some first level data analysis on pricing and usage to assist team with negotiations
• Use various systems and data to compile reports on an ad-hoc basis for team and management
• Provide some administrative office support
• Assist sales team with processing quotes and orders and creating presentations
• Participate in a range of sales team activities and be involved in making recommendations especially for systems and processes
Experience, skills and qualifications
Essential
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong numeracy skills, Maths to GCSE level or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive problem solver, with good attention to detail
• Computer literate with comprehensive knowledge of Excel
• Proficient in using internal/multiple systems
