Manager, Digital Media

The Manager of Digital Media is accountable for assisting in the execution and optimization of digital media plans. This includes working directly with the digital media agency and outside third parties, including all of our digital media publishers on the building and implementation of each campaign’s digital media plan. He/She is responsible for all campaign performance reporting and analysis, facilitating creative rotations, and implementing daily campaign optimization recommendations to maximize the efforts of the campaign. In addition, he/she is responsible for providing daily feedback to the media agency on campaign status. The expectation for the Manager, Digital Media is that he/she will have an intimate knowledge of their assigned Digital Media Campaigns, and because of this, he/she will be able to support the VP of Digital Media across every element of the campaigns.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
MEDIA PLAN EXECUTION: Managing the digital media plans to make sure they are planned based on given strategy parameters, and are executed and optimized throughout the life of the campaign
COLLABORATION WITH GREATER MARKETING ORGANIZATION: Working on a daily basis in order to build cohesion between groups for greater good of a campaign. This includes working with the:
1) broadcast planning team on integrated media approach
2) publicity, in an effort to coordinate social media events and activations
3) creative advertising, on including digital elements to all creative explorations and
4) international media, to develop global campaigns with top marketing partners
DIGITAL PUBLISHER MANAGEMENT Working directly with digital media publishers (for example, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, SnapChat, etc.) to make sure each partner is aware of campaign specifics and puts together a tailored program that meets each campaign objective
DIGITAL AGENCY MANAGEMENT: Managing the digital agency relationship including regular planning sessions and providing feedback on each campaign’s media plan
CAMPAIGN REPORTING: Pulling and analyzing the digital media plan reporting on a regular basis and reporting to management on optimization efforts
OTHER PROJECTS: Developing and presenting other projects specifically for the Digital Marketing team
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3-6 years’ experience of media experience, agency experience a plus
• Digital Media Marketing planning and buying across all digital channels, including social, video, display, paid search and custom programs
• Social Media Platforms including planning, buying and optimizing
• Media Math including CPMs, CPCs, and Reach/Frequency
• Digital Reporting Tools including ComScore, Datorama, DoubleClick, NetRatings Suite, Facebook Insights, Google/YouTube Analytics
• Third party ad verification partners to monitor and optimize mediaBig data and advertising technology, including 3rd party ad-serving and tag management solutions, data management platforms, and audience buying platforms
