Job Description:
The Solutions engine is where Dow Jones will unite it’s best creative, consulting and production talent with fantastic support from strategic agency partners and other external sources. The result will be a center of smart, creative excellence that changes both the way the industry and clients looks at the capabilities of Dow Jones, and how Dow Jones does business. The Solutions engine is responsible for:
• internal consulting & planning support
• external consulting services
• creation of complex client solutions
• creative and production operations & services
• DJ Custom Studios - our custom content newsroom
• DJ Event Management - our event management team
The Client Services team is the single-point-of-contact for the Solutions & Creative Engine’s customers, comprising dedicated Client Service Leads supported by a pool of client service & project managers.
Client Services Leads will work with their internal customers to ensure that the Engine delivers agreed levels of support. They will clarify, develop and oversee the delivery of complex briefs via the client/project management pool.
These briefs could relate to revenue projects such as multi-business line solutions, or internal strategy & planning requests. Smaller projects will funnel directly to other parts of the Engine and the Client Services team will ensure the appropriate tools & processes for air-traffic-control are in place, as well as monitoring and reporting on resource utilization.
Responsibilities:
The SVP, Client Services will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of the team’s agreed goals and service levels.
As this is a new department, the role holder will be a strong internal advocate for the value and capabilities of the team. They will take a leadership role in working with sales teams and other parts of the business to create new, valuable ways-of-working.
The role holder will ensure that appropriate processes, controls and ways-of-working are developed that support team, departmental and business goals. The role holder will ensure that the team is supported by appropriate tools and methodologies.
The role holder will be expected to take a hands-on role in supporting senior Dow Jones leadership and sales teams in external meetings. They will take a proactive role in finding new ways and opportunities to talk about Dow Jones capabilities and offerings.
As a senior leader within the Dow Jones Solutions & Creative Engine, the role holder will both be will be a strong internal advocate for the value and capabilities of the department, and contribute to the overall leadership of the team.
