Develop creative and impactful marketing solutions that meet client objectives to drive digital revenue across Cosmopolitan.com, Seventeen.com, brand social pages and emerging platforms. These include Cosmopolitan’s channel on Snapchat, Cosmopolitan.com’s expanded video offering, Instagram, YouTube and more.
This role will challenge you to ideate and develop large scale strategic ad programs for Cosmopolitan and Seventeen’s most important clients, and be part of the sales process to win the business. The role will be primarily proactive in nature, working alongside the Integrated, Editorial and Digital and Partnerships teams.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the Integrated Sales and Marketing teams to ideate and develop custom solutions primarily proactively and in response to a client brief and digital RFPs. Collaborating with the Hearst Digital Media Editorial, Ad Product & Solutions, Content Marketing, Ad Operations, Media Planning, Project Management teams throughout the process.
Work with the Integrated Marketing teams to bring creative solutions to life in a compelling pitch deck that strongly articulates the reason for and benefit of the proposed strategy.
Work closely with Publisher and Marketing Lead on developing digital strategy for the brand
Attend client and agency meetings with the integrated sellers to assist in the pitch process and help sell in the digital platforms for both brands. Ability to come up with ideas and brainstorm in the meeting.
Develop expertise at a category and client level and share knowledge and best practices across the integrated sales and marketing team.
Envision new ways for advertisers to connect with our consumers via ad product, content programs, influencers and more.
Stay abreast of the marketplace competition and digital innovations.
Work alongside the HDM Content and Marketing colleagues in a complementary manner to share ideas, information and support.
Facilitate turnover of sold digital programs to the HDM Project Manager and/or executive producer. Stay connected to sold programs throughout the execution phase to ensure quality of execution and program success.

REQUIREMENTS
6+ years minimum in media marketing and advertising experience- extensive digital experience is a plus, and a Bachelor's Degree.
Proven experience solving advertiser objectives in a media and content environment.
Strong knowledge of digital sales and marketing dynamics and processes.
Creative, resourceful, proactive, self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit.
Strong Powerpoint, Keynote and Excel required; Photoshop a plus.
Knowledge of comScore, Adobe Analytics, Chartbeat
