Overview and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for supporting the 3D Post Production Executive and the 3D Post Process.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Scheduling for and admin support for post executive
• Books all travel arrangements for post executive and handles travel and expense processing
Set-up cutting rooms for Editorial crews to include:
• Generates Editorial start paperwork
• Collects bids and makes arrangements for equipment rentals and coordinates with vendors for equipment repairs
• Supervises and fields questions from Editorial crews
• Arranges travel for Editorial crews
• Creates and maintains Editorial contact sheet for distribution
• Previews/Researches screenings
• Schedules Dolby tech and projection technician
• Attends technical run-throughs for previews, research screenings, technical qc screenings
• Out-of-town screening: Books all travel arrangements for Editorial/Post crew
• In-town screenings: Creates schedule, coordinates parking and directions
General administrative responsibilities
• Supports Post Production Executive and fill in for meeting notes during their absence
• Maintains post production calendar
• Issues and tracks purchase orders
• Liaisons between accounting and vendors
• Organizes and maintain files for all past, present, and future projects
• Coordinates asset delivery between editorial, labs, and 3D conversion/vfx facilities
• Coordinates element delivery and screenings for executives
• Maintain and schedules our dedicated department screening room
• Coordinates special elements for the Marketing and Trailer Departments
• Determines when meetings should be scheduled
• Organizes and executes conference calls
• Maintains files and binders for each show (contacts, contracts, business affairs documents, schedules, budgets memos, etc.)
• Maintains files for other issues (i.e. piracy, price lists, equipment inventory, etc.)
• Handles aspects of dailies for their shows
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years related experience
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet software, Filemaker Pro
• Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple high priorities
Additional Qualifications
Desired skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff, other administrators, internal and external customers and senior management
• Must have an understanding or willingness to learn Visual Effects and/or 3D conversion production workflows
• Must have an understanding or willingness to learn Digital Intermediate workflows
• Must be able to shift direction/priorities at a moments notice
