Description
We are looking for a qualified project manager to join the DEC team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various digital projects, including site launches, online tools, web applications and advertising campaigns. For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our business goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. As a project manager, you should also use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams. Ultimately, you should be able to manage and deliver our projects’ digital lifecycle within quality, time and budget requirements.
Responsibilities
• Manages internal project(s) from planning through delivery, including project control and status reporting, team coordination, and related troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure completion of assigned project is on schedule and within budget and quality parameters.
• Converts project requirements to executable deliverables; develops and maintains project plan and schedule using the appropriate methodology for the type of project.
• Organizes day-to-day project activities and related meetings, identifies and communicates project scope and ensures critical path, project milestones and objectives are met.
• Coordinates communication across the cross-functional teams.
• Ensures that Stakeholders have clear, concise and up-to-date information on the project’s progress.
• Raises issues and conflicts as they arise; works with Product Manager to mitigate conflicts and resolve issues as needed.
• Maintains balance and functions well in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3+ years of applicable direct project management experience (creation of project plans, managing budgets and schedules, allocating resources, etc.)
• Proficient in effectively communicating to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences in both written and oral form.
• Ability to exercise judgment related to prioritization and risk management while effectively utilizing project management methodology and tools.
• Experience with eCommerce and Web technologies desired; agile methodology experience a definite plus.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or PMP certification preferred.
