Responsibilities
Role Summary:
As part of Focus Features and Universal Pictures Creative Operations team, this position has varying lead/support roles in the production of TV and radio spots for broadcast, trailers for theatrical release, featurettes, digital units (Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), film clips, reels, and all other film/video projects in the marketing campaigns of Focus Features and Focus World releases.
This coordinator supports the SVP and the Director of the department, and interfaces with all of UPCO.
Essential Responsibilities:
Key support for all marketing post-production functions:
Trailer, TV, Radio, Featurette and Digital Finishing
Liaise with vendors, outside agencies, and internal departments across Focus and Universal
Maintain MPAA/legal compliance; review all notes/instructions and execute changes
Submit final trailers for MPAA/TASA approval
Feature elements sourcing and management (production facilities, UPCO DRF, etc.)
QC and traffic finished spots
ISCIs for both broadcast and digital trafficking
Job estimates and budget coordination, including SAP (Purchase Order system)
Manage project deadlines
Asset Management
Service requests of creative, digital, print, publicity, international, and home entertainment teams
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Detail-oriented approach to execution and troubleshooting
Clear, transparent communicator in a fast-paced, layered environment
Observe standards of excellence; “good enough is not enough”
Ability to flex between detail and strategy
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage deadlines and budgets
Excellent collaboration skills and ability to manage the needs of different departments and their executives
Strong communications skills and comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization as well as external partners, including filmmakers
2+ years experience in the entertainment industry specifically marketing, creative advertising, or post production, including interfacing with multiple clients, departments, etc.
