OVERVIEW:
The Creative Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day creative operation of BBC America for both on and off-air campaigns, across all platforms. The position oversees a team of Writer/Producers, Editors, Graphic Designers and outside production resources, all supporting multiple projects, including: new show launches, ongoing series promotion, stunts, image campaigns, marketing and press initiatives, and branded content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Elevate the brand identity of the network across every platform.
• Oversee the creative execution of all cross-platform marketing campaigns.
• Provide leadership and inspiration to the creative team.
• Develop, articulate and execute a strong creative vision for every project and campaign.
• Ensure that all on-air promotions, on-air graphics and animations, digital and print assets, off-air sales and marketing presentations are compelling, consistent, and align with network marketing and brand strategies.
• Ensure that marketing initiatives are executed in a manner that elevates the brand and communicates the positioning and attitude of BBCA.

Key Experiences/Achievements:
• 10+ years production experience in entertainment, broadcast or cable television production, especially in post-production.
• Proficiency with on-air promotion formats and strategy.
• Strong strategic thinker, innovator and disruptor.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong production and creative management background.
• Experience in the creation and implementation of campaigns for all platforms.
• Ability to create, manage and work within changing deadlines, juggling numerous projects.
• Strong creative managerial and planning skills.
