Reporting to the Manager Web Production Services, the Front-End Web Developer (known as Web Producer) will be responsible for implementing and modifying the content of various Autodesk Web properties. Using the Content Management System and other technologies, the incumbent will work with designers, editors and back-end system programmers to maintain the Web site and ensure that it meets standards Quality and user-friendliness.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implementing, updating and revising existing online material
• Create Web pages from graphic source files
• Manage personal project schedule
• Assuring that code meets pre-established standards
• Maintaining logical structure and file naming conventions of content within existing information architecture
• Maintain a high level of service with the various internal clients and partners
• Implement new technologies and develop, document and implement new technical procedures and processes
Requirements:
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in similar role in a medium/large corporate environment or web development firm.
• Ability to write high quality and well-documented XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of cross platform, cross browser compatibility issues
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation) and Jquery an asset
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Formerly known as CQ5 / Day Communiqué) an important asset
• Strong communication skills; an ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people
• Bilinguism (English/French) is required.
• Strong team player; add value to team efforts; must have the ability to maintain a good rapport with project team members and clients.
