We have an opening for an entry level, innovative, strategic Assistant Academic Designer (Editorial) – Math Intervention (Project Status Worker) in our Columbus, OH office. Does this sound like you?
Reporting to the Director, Academic Design, the Assistant Academic Designer (Editorial) – Math Intervention (Project Status Worker)will be responsible for assembling high-quality content based on specific product requirements.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of interactive elementary (Grades K-2) math intervention digital instructional materials.
• Work in digital authoring tools to deliver high-quality digital educational products to teachers and students.
• Produce accurate, error-free, high-quality products that meet curriculum standards and display appropriate content, reading level, grammar, and style.
• Track and follow approved workflows at all stages of development, and meet all intermediate and final schedule dates.
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams to ensure that market requirements, project schedules, and product goals are met.
• Demonstrate effective organizational and excellent time management skills; productive, efficient work habits and the ability to prioritize, multitask, and exhibit flexibility to rapidly changing priorities and demands.
• Perform other editorial duties as assigned.
A successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor's degree with a major in education, mathematics, or mathematics education equivalent work experience.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.
• The successful candidate must be able to work extensively in a team environment.
• The successful candidate must be organized, and detail- and deadline-oriented.
• Experience working with digital curriculum development and digital products.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A successful candidate may have:
• Previous elementary teaching experience.
• Previous elementary product development.
• Experience with Content Management Systems.
