Salesforce.com Administrator
The CRM Salesforce.com Administrator is responsible for the overall operations and continuous improvement of the Salesforce.com tool for all user groups, this includes Indianapolis, Muncie, Lafayette and Richmond Gannett Properties. Proactively analyzes Salesforce.com usage for the advertising sales team. The Salesforce.com Administrator will be responsible for local support of the corporate Salesforce.com instance for a team of 80+ users.
Essential Job Functions Include:
• Data Maintenance
• Recording quotas and fulfillment
• User role maintenance
• Campaign Management
• Overseeing data integration with billing and salesforce
• Case Management and troubleshooting
• Sales representative management of prospects and accounts
• Analyzing key performance indicator data
• Assist sales team with pipeline management and quarterly planning
• Create custom reports as requested
• Assist marketing team with lead generation
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 years’ experience using Salesforce.com
• 2 years’ experience with an understanding of CRM programs and ordering systems
Additional Skills and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT preferred
• Salesforce.com Administrator Certification preferred
• Strong IT skills – analytical, data driven, organization, and problem solving
• Ability to manage several tasks at one time and prioritize duties correctly
• Ability to change direction quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Ability to perform all aspects of launching a project (write business requirements, work with stakeholders to obtain sign-off, implement and test and perform production support)
• Ability to effectively work with diverse and cross-functional groups- comfortable with interaction with corporate executives to sales representatives
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative
• Possess sense of urgency when dealing with issues impacting customers or obstacles to project timelines
• Leadership qualities, including facilitation of meetings, time management, organizational skills and ability to influence others
• Demonstrated ability in analyzing complex issues and developing appropriate solutions.
• Ability and willingness to be flexible and adapt to change
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including tailoring communication for a variety of audiences
• Ability to work independently
