Job Summary
Drives specific product revenue within enterprise accounts in assigned region and vertical. Conducts deep levels of discovery and manages customer objections. Engages with customers at every level of the sales cycle, from account planning and through the development of the deal, to the close of the business and beyond. Trusted advisors to IgnitionOne's Executive Leadership team and end users.
• Leverages social media platforms to actively build a pipeline of potential customers.
• Collaborates with Marketing team on the design of materials and case studies to become an expert on IgnitionOne products and services.
• Evaluates, recommends and attends external events and sponsorship opportunities to help promote the IgnitionOne brand of products and services.
• Negotiates contracts and closes deals in accordance with company goals.
• Generates sales progress reports through Salesforce and submits to management.
• Remains current on industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
• Works closely with Account Management teams to upsell services and increase revenue on existing client accounts.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 + years of quota carrying software or technology sales or account management experience within retail and/or travel verticals
• 4+ years of quota carrying, media selling experience within retail and/or travel verticals
• Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
• Strong customer references and active rolodex in travel and/or retail verticals
• Possess a curiosity for technology and online media, a passion for making our customers successful, and the ability to articulate the ROI of an enterprise solution across multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
• Must be comfortable demonstrating software and speaking to technical and non-technical executives alike
• Previous Sales Methodology training
• Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles to brands directly
