We are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to work with our Morrow and Dey Street Imprints! This position will provide administrative and marketing support to the SVP/Publisher as well as the marketing department.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all seasonal and weekly rep mailings.
• Coordinates material for in-house planning and pre-sales meetings.
• Manages various data base systems and input of information.
• Creates the sales conference PowerPoint.
• Controls the marketing material inventory.
• Manages all title-specific mailings direct to booksellers.
• Performs administrative duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
• 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
• Prior office experience required
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of management
• Ability to set priorities while under pressure
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledgeable about social media for marketing purposes
