Overview
The Intern for the VP of Operations, Talent, Live Events & Creative will have an opportunity to work with one of the key leadership teams of an entrepreneurial and vibrant entertainment company. You will be working on a team that conducts over 500 live events a year and oversees a world class roster of sports entertainers. The internship will give you an opportunity to partner with teams across the Talent, Live Events and Creative department on projects that address strategic and operational initiatives. This internship will be overseen by the VP of Operations. You will assist in identifying opportunities that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and be involved in the development, testing, execution and tracking of various initiatives. The internship will be designed for someone interested in future opportunities across strategy or operations.
Possible areas of responsibility
• Project management:
◦ Gather and analyze financial, business and operational data to track departmental performance; share and communicate findings with senior leadership
◦ Organize data, develop insights and deliver findings to teams
◦ Prioritize tasks, set deadlines, and track deliverables to ensure goals are met on time
◦ Possess strong oral and written communication skills; create and communicate executive level communication documents; develop proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Business development:
◦ Apply quantitative and financial analysis to existing and new business opportunities; build financial models and business cases
◦ Help create communication or presentations to develop on-going business partner relationships
• Research / audience testing:
◦ Develop market and competitive research; create and develop opportunities to uncover fan / consumer insights
◦ Participate in and independently conduct internal and external interviews / research that improve our fan experience
