Comcast is growing an organization to lead Comcast into the wireless space with innovative services that completely rethink the end-to-end mobile experience. These services will leverage Comcast's 27M subscriber relationships, 15M+ WiFi hotspots, and pioneering X1 Entertainment Operating System to deliver one easy solution for connecting mobile devices and deliver new magical mobile experiences.
As Senior Director, Pricing & Product Planning in this organization, you will assist to: 1) define our product strategy to serve multiple consumer segments, 2) define all offers and pricing, and 3) align all product and pricing decisions with the financial goals of the organization. Your strategic and analytical approach will ultimately generate incredible excitement around a new kind of service and develop lasting customer relationships with our brand.
Core Responsibilities:
• Help define our overall product strategy, product roadmaps, and value propositions
• Hire, mentor, and develop and a high performance team that moves incredibly quickly and respond to the market and stay head of competitors
• Analyze various consumer segments and identify product strategies to address them
• Define all mobile service offers, including tiers, packaging, and pricing to meet our customer experience and business objectives
• Define our strategy for promotions and discounts, and partner closely with marketing team to drive customer acquisition on a quarterly basis.
• Model the economics of all of our pricing, product, and marketing constructs, and ensure all decisions meet the financial goals of the organization
• Partner closely with our Consumer Insights group to understand consumer appeal around various pricing and offer decisions
• Work with Product Management team to evolve our product and customer experience to best align with our value proposition and address our target customers
Preferred Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree a plus
• 10+ years in product marketing and/or product management roles with significant pricing experience; 3+ years working with wireless products/services
• Experience with early stage businesses or products, bringing first generation products/services to market
• Rare mix of intelligence, integrity, and verbal agility that allows you to earn the trust of business, product, and marketing teams across the company
• Excellent project management skills, with a record of successful project delivery on time, in line with budget expectations.
• Experience in hiring, managing, and developing world-class talent
