Responsibilities
Role Summary
This is an opportunity to work in an exciting, evolving research environment supporting the Syfy Program and Digital Research teams. This position will work closely with Programming/Scheduling, Production, Marketing, Press, and Finance. This position reports to the Director, Digital Research.
Responsibilities
• Compile, analyze and interpret Nielsen and digital data for recurring and ad hoc requests
• Manage topline and detailed analyses, reports, presentations, and highlights covering Syfy and competitors
• Maintain and improve all regular reporting and competitive analyses
• Assist in positioning research data in a creative and concise manner
• Utilize critical thinking/mathematical skills to analyze industry trends
• Prepare and present robust insights/recommendations in a timely manner
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Media, Statistics or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Television Research
• Experience with Nielsen systems (such as NPower) required
• Excellent computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience with Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Comscore/Rentrak, ListenFirst, Excel Macros a plus
• Passion for TV/New Media and storytelling with data
• Team player
