Marketing Specialist, Greater China
Report to Asia Marketing Director, Education
Location: Beijing
As a member of Asia regional marketing team, this role will work closely with Greater China management and sales team to take initiative to learn and understand products, customers and market landscape; to design marketing campaigns, both offline and online; to ensure smooth and timely delivery of campaigns according to marketing plan. This role manages all aspects of marketing for Greater China market.
Key tasks:
1. Generating Greater China language learning marketing campaign plan and timelines; managing allocated marketing budget
1. Working with sales team and regional marketing team for planning and delivering marketing events; supporting key account managers on designing and delivering VIP events
1. Responsible for planning and maintaining China social media accounts and digital campaigns
1. Working with regional marketing team to create marketing collateral; act as a contact point for China sales team to produce sales-support materials
1. Collecting leads and reporting marketing event outcomes; collating China market feedbacks for product development
1. Ensuring Macmillan branding consistency by guidance from corporate;
1. Managing vendors including PR agencies, design and production houses;
Key relationships:
• Dotted reporting line into General Manager, Greater China
• Internally with China team and regional marketing team;
• Externally with varieties of clients, industry influencers and marketing relevant vendors;
