We are looking for a passionate and seasoned Product Director to lead the evolution of our consumer facing Ad Products, allowing us to continue to monetize our free tier with market-leading user-friendly promotion experiences. Spotify is actively investing in its free monetization capabilities in a way that benefits our users, advertisers, and ecosystem partners - this position will be key to delivering on that investment.
As the Product Director, you will set the long-term vision for our user-facing Ad Product Development, and manage a team of Product Owners responsible for executing on that vision. From ideation to development to commercialization, you’ll lead a cross-functional organization focused on increasing value for users and advertisers alike with industry-leading ad products.
What You’ll Do
• Set the high-level mission, vision, and roadmap for the team executing in this space
• Define metrics and KPI’s we use to measure the performance of our ad products
• Work closely with stakeholders to collaboratively develop a roadmap for our user-facing ad products
• Manage and lead a team of product owners executing on our ad product strategy
Who You Are
• You have 10+ years of experience working with user-facing ad products.
• You have 3+ years of experience directly managing high-performing teams.
• You are a non-conventional thinker with a proven track record of building innovative products
• You have experience with the complexities of the video and display ad marketplaces.
• You have prior experience and technical understanding of ad serving products and video delivery.
• You have prior operational oversight of ad product suites.
• You are a highly motivated and flexible individual with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful and timely delivery
